Most of the beaches accessible from the main entrances feature strong currents and powerful waves, making swimming quite dangerous at spots like Arrecifes or Brava.
In contrast, a few areas are suitable for swimming, such as La Piscina, a small lagoon protected by coral reefs.
Cabo San Juan is the park’s most iconic and visited beach, prized for its fine sand and twin bays framed by palm trees. However, its beauty attracts large crowds, and the lack of privacy can be surprising. Several other lesser-known, calmer beaches allow you to relax and enjoy snorkeling. There, you will have the chance to glimpse numerous aquatic species—each more beautiful and colorful than the last—swimming right past your mask.
